My wife and I stayed at your beautiful hotel, and it was an exceptional experience. We were in town to see a friend's winery, and never expected to find a hotel like yours. In fact, we stay at many great places in the US and Europe, and would put your hotel in the top 10 hotels we have ever stayed at. The design, ambiance and staff were extraordinary.
Superb boutique hotel, we give it two thumbs up!! I could go on and on about how brilliant the Hotel Cheval is...In fact, I struggled to find fault with it at all.

We love coming to our "second" home! The fireplaces are so wonderful, the beds are terrific, and thank you for accepting dogs and making them feel welcome too.

Sometimes, I can be a pain in the neck as a guest. Little things often annoy the heck out of me. For hotel stays, it might be a slow greeting, disinterested service, an untidy room, missing soap, noise...whatever. I wanted to tell you that, try as I might, I could not find anything wrong with our visit to your beautiful hotel. From check-in to check-out, the great room, the beautiful breakfast...everything was really great. I suppose I could complain about not having anything to complain about, but that is likely going too far. Thanks again for a memorable stay.
Not enough raves are possible for this gorgeous, charming and quaint little hotel in the equally charming and quaint town of Paso Robles.
We stopped here for two nights on our way down the PCH from San Fran to Dana Point and we were literally stopped in our tracks at this little gem of a place! It was really supposed to be a stop-over from the exciting San Fran to the glitzy St. Regis where we were ending... but turned out to be the highlight of our whole trip!!!
What a perfect place to stay...from the outdoor fireplaces to the breakfast delivery in the morning...the little touches are definitely noticed. We spent our wedding night here in December 2007, so it was great to be back!
